Why choose power modules over discrete power solutions?
There are many advantages of using power modules over home-grown discrete solutions. Learn how power modules can make your next design easier and faster
Vicor PI3325 ZVS buck regulators are highly integrated system-in-package regulators that output 5V at up to 20A for point-of-load applications. The PI3325 integrates the controller, power switches, and support components in a 10 x 14mm LGA package and uses a high-performance Zero-Voltage Switching topology to provide best-in-class efficiency, with pulse skipping at light loads. It operates from a 14 to 42 V supply, and supports parallel operation with automatic current sharing for applications with higher current requirements. The PI3325 supports fast and slow current limits, integrates a differential amplifier for remote sensing, and has adjustable soft start and tracking.
